Are Dillon and Sullivan getting on the field?
I’m asking because Both have been a weapon in games before.

No complaints with this offense.

Just checking to see if SUlivan is getting out there but not getting open.
Dillon is another senior thst was deadly in last Years auburn game.

I also understand that moss/chase Jefferson/Marshall soak up a lot of throws.

Also mea culpa here, I’m not even sure what Sullivan playing at this time. Split TE or wr.

He’s the fifth leading receiver not counting helaire.

All that to say I hope these two seniors get some pt in the Arky/ole miss stretch.

We are here to win a championship, not to make sure everyone gets to play. This ain’t little league.

When Moss and Marshall were out and limited, both them and McMath stepped up nicely. They just went back to the bench because the guys in front of them are just better. But if the next 2 (hopefully 3) games are blowouts, they will get plenty of time to play.

I agree. We are number 1. I'm not questioning the decisions made by this staff.
If they want to see the field, earn it.

Reads title.
Doesn’t read body of thread.
Posts anyway.

-what art of Arky/ole miss makes you think the trio are going to be on the field all game for both games?

Use your head.

If they are out there you taking 1 of Moss, Helaire, Chase, Jefferson, or Marshall out.

Other than a hail Mary type situation, why would you want Dillon or Sullivan over the 5 skill guys playing?

According to game participation stats, Dillon and Sullivan have played in all 9 games. To throw in another play, McMath has played in all games except Northwestern State.

I recall seeing Sullivan on the field during some of those redzone snaps against Bama.

These guys are still out there contributing, even if they aren't lighting up the stat book. They all seem to be good options when needed, though.

Yeah,

By reading the whole post, one would deduct that the trio aren’t going to be on the field in the 4th and possibly 3rd quarters of the Arky/ole miss games.

Recently when we go 5 wide, it’s CEH and Moss lining up at receiver. It’s great they’re versatile enough to do that because it allows us to change formations without changing personnel.

People are reading your entire posts buddy, I just don’t think anyone is concerned with who is getting PT behind Jeff, Chase, and Marshall.

You also eluded to Dillion playing last year and not this year.

Joe has his weapons, and at this point, Dillion and Sullivan aren’t in his arsenal.

Will they get PT in the Ole Piss and Arky games? My assumption would be, if we get a big lead, they will see time with Brennan in the second half. Honestly, I don’t see it happening in the Ole Miss game.

re: Are Dillon and Sullivan getting on the field?
I think we're seeing the best players play and get most of the reps this year. We arent turning to backups nearly like w eused to on offense. CEH has gotten 135 carries to TDP's 44. Emery and Curry are non-present in the big SEC matchups. Jefferson, Chase and Marshall are getting almost all the catches from the WR corps. No other WR has more than 10 catches and that's with Marshall out 3 games and Chase 1 game. Moss has gotten 27 catches to Sullivan's 11.

They simply are feeding the ball to the best players, and I don't have issue with that personally. I think it's pretty clear those Top 3 WRs are a step above the rest of the receivers we have right now and Moss has simply proven to be a little more of a play maker than Sullivan and is getting fed the ball more. I will note Sullivan has caught all 11 of his targets this season which is a nice improvement from last year when he only caught 19 of his 38 targets (50% catch rate is just not good).

I can see Dillon getting in on 4WR sets but other than that, my point still stands. Moss is better than Sullivan. The trio of WR are better than Dillon.

This is the five you have to go with now and we have been for a few games. These five have gelled together!

re: Are Dillon and Sullivan getting on the field?
said it in the TX game.

Sullivan is safety bait, and I think they do the same thing with Dillon. they both run deep, right at the deepest safety or his zone and get him to move off his spot just enough to go over the middle to Marshall/jefferson/chase.

He's quality depth when we have an injury or someone needs extra rest.

Everyone on our offense is healthy at this point(that I know of), and then there's the emergence of Moss.

Id like to see Sullivan more involved but you cant argue with anything theyve done... and yes its not little league... you gotta earn it... but i remember them saying jimmy graham/sullivan earlier this summer and i do think he could ge a valueble recieveing TE because he runs better than moss... Moss is just better in blocking and and hes honestly being doing his job.. Sullivan should get some catches from Brennan the next couple games..
