Aramark was already totally incompetent and sucked in a normal game-day environment. Now they'll be attempting to keep order with social distancing lines and Covid guidelines. This will not end well.

Hope to see Woody terminate shitty Alleva's contract with Aramark and find a quality vendor. Dumbass gave them a 10-year deal in 2017.

Who would you hire to feed 100k people? They all use temp labor

Proof of the Pudding has provided services for premier venues including the Carter Presidential Center, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia International Convention Center, Infinite Energy Center, SEC and ACC athletics venues, NFL House for Super Bowl LIII and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. MSU Athletics becomes the company's latest major college sports account, joining Auburn, Alabama, University of Georgia, Georgia Tech and Duke.

The worst part is how they FORCE you to buy their stuff.

I haven’t bought anything from LSU football concessions since early in the 2017 season.

1) When the RFP was put out for concessions, there were only 2 bids for the contract - Aramark and Levy. That’s it - the department had to pick from one or the other as no other bids were submitted.

2) The contract is for 10 years, as will likely be the next one. LSU requires a huge capital expenditure on the part of the concessions vendor, and no one will invest in the upfront costs if the contract is shorter.

Proof of the Pudding in Atlanta is a catering service. Have they ever done consistent big venues? I don’t know if you own or work there, but I didn’t know that large-scale sporting venues was really their lane. My wife used them every year for Emory’s Residency Christmas party....they always did a great job! Having a carving station and open bar is way different than providing hotdogs, hamburgers, and nachos to 100k fans. Even then, you will have temp or outsourced labor.

All I know is State kicked Aramark to the curb after they didn't have enough workers show up to open all the concession stands at football games. Cohen was pissed and went with Proof of the Pudding. If they can handle concessions at Bama, AU and GA then State should be easy as pudding

They could start by not hiring ghetto kids who are rude and don’t give a shite about doing a half-decent job.

LSU’s concessions were MUCH better before Aramark took it over. The Boy Scouts and kids athletic teams and church groups were usually fairly friendly, competent and the lines moved faster. And the food tasted better.

Aramark took it over and essentially hired McDonald’s workers. And the food and the service reflect that.

It's a shame LSU concessions can't show the best of Louisiana eats instead of the worst in high school football concessions.

They said ALL the food will be prepackaged this year.

Am I going to have to heat up my Landshire hamburger in a microwave?
