With all the awards this team has garnered, Rashard is one key guy that deserves recognition for the huge contributions in his career. He chose LSU over Bama at a time when the program was not headed in a great direction. He fought back year after year, following a number of injuries. Ignoring the risk of further injury, he resisted the temptation of throwing his name in for the draft, coming back to lead the defense...having a very productive year. He’s a worker and a leader. I loved when we were defending the goal line at one point in the game and you could hear Lawrence through the ref’s mic after a stop he made. Kept yellin at the offensive line, “Talk more shite, talk more shite!”

Good thread. Been my favorite player the last two years. Hope he stays healthy and has a productive nfl career. Last guy I felt this way about was Kyle Williams - I think of rashard has health he could be a great pro - to be Kyle is a big ask though haha
