is bitching for bitchings sake. We kept Aranda and got a top 5 OC. Be happy for once in your lives.

The people still bitching are miserable fans who have been complaining for years, even when things went right under Miles.

Do people really do this? lol. I'm with you, but it only takes a few minutes to see some miserable bloke who will acknowledge it's a good move and then complain about (insert topic here).

Yea. Plenty. Specifically because he was our "3rd choice" after our top 2 turned us down. (something there is no evidence of, only speculation)

Canada was one of five finalists this year for the Frank Broyles Award, given to the nation's best assistant coach.

And the other 4 were DCs.

Yep. That's why he was the only OC to be a Broyles finalist

I actually agree that he isn't top 5....YET. We have to wait and see how he fairs in SEC play to make that call TBF. He could end up being the best possible hire we could of made . Gotta wait for the results next year . He was top 5 this year but didn't have to play many elite defenses .

That being said I still think it's a slam dunk hire . Guice fina eat. Guice will have close to 2,000 total yards next year . I finally think we will see some of these uber talented tight ends actually have big years now. I wish Desean Smth had another year with Canada, he would go ape shite in that offense .

some people aren't going to blow their load over a guy who had one awesome season and a bunch of mediocre ones.

i'm sure he'll do fine but he's nowhere near as sexy of a hire as Aranda was.

We're not keeping them forever.

That is an inherent issue that is even worse now when your HC does not specialize on either side of the ball.

Every OC or DC has strengths and weaknesses

I am pleased.

Well that's legit. We should have hired our top choice regardless of whether he wanted the job or not.

They can eat shite as far as I'm concerned.

I honestly don't know enough about him to be thrilled or upset. Just glancing at Pitt's numbers, they seem to put up a fair amount of points (including 76 on Syracuse and upsetting Clemson and Penn State).

He's a pretty balanced, pro-style offensive coordinator, no? I really didn't want LSU to abandon the running game for an up-tempo, air-raid style of offense.
