If Bama has any class they will suspend him a half or a game
LSU did the same thing in that Wisconsin game a few years ago - it happens in the heat of the moment and sometimes players lose their cool. It was wrong but an apology is definitely warranted.

That penalty basically gave us 6 points IMHO!
Even 3 points via F/G woulda been nice but 6 + the E/P was basically the nail in the coffin!
We should be sending the guy thank you cards & gifts.

Plays like this are completely uncalled for and he should have been ejected. If a player can be ejected to helmet to helmet hit while sacking the QB, then this should be included in that.

Should have been ejected. The rule is stupid.
You can’t throw a punch into an opponent’s helmet, but you can run full speed and throw 300lbs of force into the back of an unsuspecting player’s neck.
