Wow dude, I really rustled your jimmies, didn't I?

Do you really believe 20k Tiger fans will be in attendance?

Here's the way I see it going down: LSU will indeed sell their 20k, but only 13k Tiger fans will show. The other 7k will be bought by StubHub and other third party entities.

Also, rilesrick, who are you calling a dumbass with grammar like yours?

It's LAMBEAU FIELD!

All I know is we have three families going amounting to 15 people from Texas and Louisiana plus others we are meeting up there that live in Wisconsin. This is probably a once in a life time deal to see LSU play at that field.

And this will be the first college football game ever played there.

Also remember the optimisum many will have going into this season. Many are expecting a championship run. If this was expected to be a 3 or 4 win team, might be hard to build the hype, but I think people will go because of the nostalgia and expectations of winning when there.

This sounds about right.

To be fair, that's like 25% of the stadium.

There will be upset fans who don't get tickets to this game. Yes 20k will be reached fast

LSU could honestly probably sell 40K to this game if they wanted to. Please don't compare Lambeau to freaking Starkville.

Remember back in 2006 when we thought we were going to the Rose Bowl and we requested more than 30K tickets in 2 days? This is a trip to a historical venue, just like a Pasadena trip would have been.

LINK

There's so many people wanting tickets for this game, only high paying season ticket holders/donors are getting their hands on LSU's allotment. I expect at least another 5-10K of us to buy up tickets off Stubhub, which is what most people I know are planning to do. I'll be there one way or another.

This game is drawing LSU fans from all over the country & many have already booked rooms mths ago. When is the last time hotels for Gainesville, Oxford, etc sold out this soon? Comparing Lambeau to games in Fla & Miss??? Good lord.

I just think the idea of 20,000 LSU fans inside a stadium as far north as Green Bay seems far fetched. Hope I'm wrong.

Yes you will be wrong, those tickets won't even go on sale to the general public.

This ticket will be hotter than a national championship ticket.

I think LSU will have 20K there. It's a once in a lifetime destination game.

Is this a serious question?

From a Badger perspective I wish you had half the amount.I assume you will sell out. LSU seems to travel well, but it sounds like the distance is concerning?

If we can bring 17k to an average Houston venue, you can bring 20k to Lambeau in Sept.

The thing I can tell you is I doubt bars will be unprepared for this event. This is Wisconsin after all. Should be a very alcoholic Saturday.

Yep, I was saying the same thing yesterday. I will be the first to buy them, if they go public. I went to Arlington for the new stadium. Lambeau is on another level of football royalty and to see your school there is unreal.

I've got 20 on them running out.

Eta....I was at the UO/Whisky Rose Bowl. I wasn't impressed.

There are over 1,000 people going with the alumni association alone.

We could sell 30,000 if they were provided.

Wisconsin travels the best in my opinion. I was super impressed with the turnout at NRG Stadium.

You can't compare Wisconsin to LSU in that regard.

I'm not necessarily comparing StarkVegas to Lambeau, but I am in the sense that I will be shocked if I show up and there are 20,000 LSU fans at Lambeau, based on the way we've travelled in the past.
