Seems like revisionist history their Lacour. I don't doubt there was a few on here with that narrative. But I recall the majority being pretty worried. Including myself and with good reason. I don't have that feeling with Jimbo Fisher. He'll do better than Sumlin but he ain't Nick Saban and Aggie ain't Bama.

It isn’t revisionist history. That is the way people talk here. Go back and look at comments before our bowl games with Clemson and Penn State. The general consensus was those schools didn’t deserve to be in a game with mighty LSU and would get spanked. LSU fans turn Bamalike with a little success. I’m guilty of it too sans all the name calling and insults.
All is not lost. 11-1 is the new 12-0. It will be hard for any team to go undefeated in the West. All we have to do is go 11-1 and we will have a shot at the playoffs ever year. If the playoffs increase to 6 or 8 our chances of getting in increase.
