That's because they only would have hosted if arise won. It's the only scenario their ticket distribution system had to address.

CCU is 13-9 on the road; 5-5 vs. decent competition on the road
CCU is 0-2 vs. the SEC

L 8-2 vs. Ole Miss @ Home
L 4-2 vs. South Carolina @ USC

They've only lost 2 games since the start of May, but you could argue that LSU has faced much tougher competition over that same stretch.

We, on the other hand, are 15-4 in the Box when hosting a Super Regional, winning 7 series and losing only 1 to Stony Brook in 2012.
