Does anyone find it bizarre spring ball starts March 7th and no contract finalized. Rumors swirled around signing day that were put to rest quickly. Now the Super Bowl is over and coaches can contact the NFL about availabilities. Anyone have insight?

JBE cancelled that payment, too.

First of all, belowpar is no more.
My most trusted sources are all over the map. One saying it's all done but the formal signing. A couple others say Cam was possibly looking to move as paycut likely.
Who knows? I believe nothing anymore. Personally, I'd like to see his base cut way down with lucrative incentives in place for top offensive rankings. He rode the gravy train, now he should prove he's worth it. If I knew I could deliver I'd welcome incentive based pay.
Salaries by nature breed laziness.

But what are DALSU's sources saying?

DALSU says he's staying but Billy Gonzales is being brought in as his passing game coordinator.

Maybe he's saying Cameron was told to look elsewhere as he doesn't seem to fire coaches. Maybe he couldn't find an NFL job and wouldn't agree to massive pay cut.
Maybe that's what he would say.
Maybe OC has input on who RB coach is and maybe that's a hold up as well. Who knows only DAL

All I can say is that Cam deserves a pay cut.
If Cam does leave I have no idea who Miles could get that would be a "home run" like Aranda. Furthermore, who is out there that would even be an upgrade?
I don't see LSU coming up w the cash for a huge hire in addition to Cam. If Cam is too proud to take a pay cut and can't find another job we may see Miles actually fire someone for the first time.
I don't see that happening.

Kinda bad time right now to announce a big contract after your governor's threats last night
