I'm not a sunshine pumper by any means, and if you look at the passing game as a whole last night, it was aweful.

But, I thought JJ looked a lot better early on in the game. He looked a lot more accurate than he's looked so far this season, and the offense would have had more success if the WRs did a better job catching the balls that got to them. (Not blaming the WRs, clearly there's no rhythm between them and the QB). After that, a few bad passes by JJ, some booing by the fans, everything just fell apart. His accuracy was aweful, and it looked like he was really pressing. QBs don't 1-hop balls to their WRs just because "they suck".

I don't think JJ is ever going to be "good", but I saw enough early on in the game to think that maybe he can improve and be just "good enough" to get us to the seccg with the team he has around him.

When we lose because of our offense I will be angry at our non-production.

sunshine:

after JJ was yelling at the receiver who dropped the ball, he was benched for a series.

JL got on the field and did not throw an INT.

JJ threw 2 INTS.

I am hopeful we see someone else on the field v Tennessee.

Unfortunately, that one player is the most important player on the team.

Sure - I'm still optimistic. I think the reality is that our lack of offensive production will cost us at least a couple of games, but the rest of the team looks pretty damn good.

Yes. Being 4-0 is more than enough reason for me.

it was his 18th start. it was his third straight game with under 100 yards. he CAN NOT do the job. he has had his chance. its not going to happen. keeping him in is guaranteed failure. we will NEVER win the west with him at QB.

I'm optimistic the Crowton will continue to underperform, put our play-makers as far away from the ball as possible, Pass when we should run, run when we should pass, all causing Chicken to make millions with the increase in traffic.

That being said, Our defense will hold UT to less than 150 total yards, and special teams will score at least 2 touchdowns, allowing LSU to beat the Spread 3 out of 5 times this year.

You might be right, but that doesn't mean we'll win the west with JL at QB.

I'm as optimistic as any. As a couple have posted, we are one player from being a very good team. Sadly, that is the most important player on the team.

We're 4-0. There are 8 games remaining. We can win 4 of those playing as we did last night. But we can not win the other 4...Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas...playing as we did last night. And all 4 of those teams can be beaten by us IF our offense improves immediately.

Miles must be able to see this. If not and if he doesn't make the necessary changes, it's time for him to go.

no, it doesnt. but we definitely wont with jordan. i like Miles, Ive defended him a million times, but if we dont at least TRY to change things around before its too late, if he dooms us to another mediocre season and wastes the talent on this team because hes too god damn stubborn to change, than he can go frick himself.

How about this.

We have an pretty damn young team. Especially the defensive secondary. The talent we have running around back there is just unbeleivable. Tyran got beat on the last TD, but it was due to loose footing.. not error on his part. He is the truth and our next lockdown corner.

The running game is VASTLY improved and regardless of the fact if we need to pick up a 3rd and 8 we are doomed, the team show signs of championship level football. Get the QB/WR situation resolved and we are on the road to another crystal football.

There, my sunshine pumping.

I thought so too. He looked really good for the first drive or so, then it just came apart on him. And, in the end, he had a game maybe even worse than the Vanderbilt game. It's one step forwards, two steps back.

I like LSU chances against everyone except bama. Arky, Fla and Auburn all look beatable. Nothing about them really sticks out. Maybe I am too optimistic but oh well.
