Sounds like he’s going back to Texas to tend to family and personal issues. TCU is apparently a team to watch

I have not heard any real smoke about him returning to LSU from the portal. the original rumor was TCU, but maybe he is trying to figure out a waiver to play immediately? not sure about that but would make sense

Eh, it might actually be more beneficial if the transfer rule passes where he doesn’t have to sit out. He faces suspension at LSU.

That was turned down in late May:

He would need to get a waiver. I would say it should be easy with Corona, but I thought there was a kid last year who transferred to be closer to tend to his mom who had a brain tumor removed and his waiver got denied. So who knows with that deal
