With Mett, leaving, we'll lose Becham, Landry, and Hill. D will have to be way better next year.

Nice thing is that Murray,McCarron and JFF are all gone too.

Landry going in the third round

He is a possession receiver of the highest caliber. Complete stud. First round son.

Anthony Jennings is a fricking stud. You don't have a kid that comes in, learns plays, and takes the #2 QB spot very often. He is going to be special, and with the talent we have coming in plus Dural, Leslie and company they may be even more special. Like it was mentioned earlier, McCarron, JFF, Murray are all gone as well so the growing pains will be minimal hopefully. I am VERY excited about the future of this team, especially the Offense.

been saying that since last year.

Your cred is shot with this statement because they definitely were not last year

They were very good recievers last year. I meant to say since before the season started. I told that to some friends and 5hey thought it was hilarious. Truth is, they were always the most impressive athletes on the field last year besides hill.

Landry and Beckham are gone. Best tandem in college football.

But Dural looks solid, Leslie will be good. And idk who on here follows recruiting but were projected to bring in a class that might be the best WR class on paper we've ever had at LSU. Remember these names: Malachi Dupre, Speedy Noil, and Trey Quinn. These three are as good as it gets

I don't know anything about either of their situations, but isn't it possible that for one or both of them forgoing the money for one year won't be a big deal. Especially Beckham I would assume with both of his parents being Lsu alum and him going to a 20k a year highschool, money isn't an issue for his family.

both will leave although out of the two beckham would be the one to stay, but I don't think that will happen.

both will be taken within the first 3 rounds

Good assessment... Chief will be working overtime this upcoming offseason in addition to Cam to get a lot of young guys ready. This will be the most important offseason of the Miles era.

Probably true, but this is a "strike while the iron's hot" situation. Both would be taking a pretty big gamble to come back, (injury, drop-off from Mett to Jennings) no reason to wait for the money they're gonna make. They would both be making a mistake to come back.

No doubt we lose some major offensive skill talent this year

but...

we are likely bringing in Fournette, Noil, Dupre, Quinn. Plus untapped guys like Dural, Leslie, and Diarse.

We even have an outside shot at DHaquille.

...and the OL should return.

QB will be a guy that beat out a guy who has been here a while. Plus QBs learn from systems and guys in front of them. We keep Cameron and I bet we are pleasantly surprised at how well the QBs play from here on out.
