Another year, another season with <10 regular season wins

Last year was a mulligan. What is this year?
We need to beat UCF to show any progress at all.
Even so, we still have one more SEC loss than last year.
What evidence is there that next year will be any better?

We had a gauntlet of a schedule this year and we are playing in a NY6 bowl. We are trending up. Easy schedule next year with a 5 star horse coming into to run the ball with Clyde the Glide. 11-1 here we come.

A year where no one was expecting us to do much, and are currently #11 in the CFP - with a crazy tough schedule to boot.
We lost almost EVERYTHING from offense last year, and a good bit from defense.

Tell that to Alabama, Florida, and Texas A&M. Going from 6-2 to 5-3 is not a upward trend in the SEC. Nine wins is not treading up. The offense and defense are not trending up.
It was a good season almost exactly as 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, but I guess this is the new great season for LSU. Come in third in the west with the same struggling offense, have a chance to win ten games, and its now a great coaching job.

I’m not an O guy but to be honest, I thought we’d be much MUCH worse at the end of the season. If you’d have told me in August that we’d be where we are with a NYD bowl, I would’ve laughed. This season is a success
