That 79% completion average is just insane.

We have to remember that a big piece of this goes to the improvements by the wide receivers. Their hands are like glue this season!

It's a complete team effort. Burrow is threading the needle when he needs to and hits guys in stride when available. The receivers are running great routes and don't drop shite. The line in my opinion is the most improved giving Burrow way more time than last year. And the coaches developed all those guys while also installing a new system that enables all of the above.

It truly is astounding. Here's a little food for thought: lots of people are talking about Brady and how everyone will come calling for him; while this is true, he will never emulate the turnaround that he pulled off this year. Because no team will already be loaded with the talent LSU already had, while also doing so little with that talent. Don't get me wrong, Brady will have a great career, hopefully at LSU. I just don't see him or anyone else ever achieving such a drastic improvement in such a short period of time.

You just triggered the "Bert Jones, GOAT LSU QB" fan club.

Now they have to defend his 52.2 comp % with more "But Bert's arm was stronger".
