Another Donté Jackson thread

I continue to not see the passion and fire in this guy. He's not hard hitter, I've never seen him attack the ball, i always see him in soft coverage. I still don't understand why he's on the field. Track speed can only take you so far.

Bench him and put in the proven Tolliver. Isn't that what everyone was saying last week? No thanks, I'll take DJ1. Is he the best? No, not by far. But is he the best for that position that we have, I'd say yes.

Christ man, he came up and made a few tackles and along with White looked like the only one on defense who didn't quit.
I recall State completing one pass on him and the receiver (6 inches taller and about 70 pounds heavier) was tackled immediately.
FFS, donte was the least of the problems on defense Saturday night.
Everybody's all American KT, however was out of position on a few big plays and was giving g his receivers the biggest cushions I've ever seen.
