Is it just me or is this announcer kinda just pouring it on with Waters. I love Waters but every single score he somehow makes about Waters it seems.

It's a story as old as time. It's what announcers do. They pick what arguably is the best player on each team and talk up that player when that team is winning.

Y’all complain when the announcers don’t praise our players every chance they get and now you’re complaining when the announcer gives our guy praise because he’s tearing it up.

Waters is special. Incredible talent and fun to watch. Much like Kylar Murray is at football. It's been around 50 years since LSU had someone this awesome to watch at basketball. Enjoy it while it lasts.

He doesn’t just do that for Waters. Every time we score he yells at the top of his lungs into the mike.

I’d take 88-90 Chris Jackson 10/10 times over Waters. He epitomizes “awesome to watch”. The current Chris Jackson, who goes by another name and lost his mind, no thanks.
