What else does the state of Alabama have going for it other than college football? Seriously, the self worth of so many residents of the state of Alabama (particularly Gumps) is tied to how well their football program is doing. Take one look at Harvey Updike and you have the poster child for Alabama football. Of course they invest more in their university, because what else do they have? That said, it’s no excuse for the deplorable state that LSU is in both physically and financially. Jindal raped LSU and Edwards is following suit. F*King Alexander has got to be one of the worst university presidents out there.
