I am giving him a chance unlike 70% of people on here and only game I made it too last year as Troy State. ( A school my little brothers buddy was the first recruit for in the 80s)

But like him or not Alleva is the real problem and no one anyone on here would want will come here as long as he is AD. Not my opinion but that of every damn national football reporter etc in the Country. He is also perceived as likely to be soon fired which is already hurting us. ( real reason they flipped surtain.) Hey Patrick, Corey is Great guy but he will be gone before you ever see real playing time. They will all likely be gone next year unless they win 10 games. He you seen the schedule for next year? Get it out for him.....

He needs to be gone 5 years ago.

That’s great, and I’m sure it makes Orgeron fans feel better to rationalize it that way, but does it really make a difference? The result of a problem is still a problem.

Neither one should have ever been hired.

I love these threads. They speak the truth.

Alleva is the moron who hired the moron. It is Alleva’s fault for this whole mess. My grandma would make a better AD. She said “get that guy out of Starkville and see what he can do at a place like LSU.”

Goes up further then Alleva. We have let good ole boy network type administration creep back into LSU football. Its what saban and emmert came in and got rid of. The due dilligence in some of these hiring processes is why I think this. The whole les miles and O hiring debacle. Then canada and ensminger. Not as upset with the actual hires as the We couldnt find anyone good so we promoted from within angle.

1.5 Years into the job, what exactly defines a “chance” for 0?

Any more speculation about F_King being out this summer? IMO, that would be the catalyst for then firing the AD. You are exactly right, OP. Until JA goes, we are floundering and certainly no one wants him picking our next coach

Yeah Mullen was the easy safe fallback hire if alleva had any sense at all. It was so obvious. He may not have been wildly successful but he already proved he can win with less at Miss st.

I agree That Alleva made a power play and thinks he’s smarter than her really is, but O was just as in on it.

The problem is if you fire O today who would come here with the clowns running the circus. No one wants to be last coach a AD hires before he gets fired, since no matter what happens you “ain’t his guy”

I pray rumors are correct about King. That would be great start in right direction

Much different situations. Hall man took over a losing program. Orgeron was hired for supposed continuity and that is already slipping.

Please work on your sentence structure. Your paragraph reads like a poorly transcribed stream of consciousness.

Example:
quote:

But like him or not Alleva is the real problem and no one anyone on here would want will come here as long as he is AD.

This is possibly the most poorly written sentence in the history of The Rant.

Correct Conference, wrong town.

I like the guy over at College Station. (But not as much as the guy in Clemson South Carolina)

What kind of idiocy is this?

This would be like saying cigarettes are the problem not cancer. If you just quit smoking, everything will be fine.
