It's still Duke, though. Not many people can win there.

Discussed last night on radio with Hanni and Ott.

Too old. Les' age. Consensus is that LSU will look for someone younger.

Cutcliffe ain't leaving Duke. He was a candidate for one of the big jobs that came open recently (I'm wanting to say Tenn) and he told them thanks but no thanks. He is happy at a school where the pressure to win is not as intense.

ETA: Hopefully Coach O runs the table and has LSU playing lights out football and makes the coaching search easy, because I do not trust Alleva at all.

I don't want Cut, I'm just pointing out he made a good hire and I have a little faith in him

If I were LSU, I wouldn't let Herman say no.

He wouldn't work well here. Pisses too many people off.
Duke doesn't care about FB, and it's not under the microscope like it is here.

He was forced to hire Johnny. Dale probably tied him up in the AD office and put a gun to his head. Trent was a good hire, nobody knew based off his stanford success he was so lazy recruiting

Cut is a great coach, but as many have said, age is against him. We'd have damn good QB play, though.

Alleva also fired the lacrosse coach & ran off basically the entire team. How did that work out for Duke?

His ties to the Duke Lacrosse scandal is what worries me that he may actually consider Briles.

I guess he should have waited for the law to run it's course, but I'm sure he was under immense pressure, given the situation.
