We need a more balanced player at the 2 position. CJJ gotta be looking hard in the portal or working hard with A.M.

Not just “better”. He is miles better. Cade used to lumber to those passed balls. His arm wasn’t great either. Gibbs was good not great.

Have you ever played, coached or umpired? Serious question. You think that a pitcher in college can just flush it like MLB when your catcher is allow RUNS on passed balls and giving hitters extra opportunities because you can’t frame a pitch. I mean seriously man. Baseball is as much of a mental sport than most others. When you have ZERO confidence in your catcher, you try to be closer on pitches. The reason why Lang was able to bury pitches was he had confidence in his catcher.
