All of the nay sayers will be eating their words

LSU is completely flying under the radar. #25 in the poll says that we cracked the top 25 mainly based on our name and history. So called experts are picking LSU to finish 5th in the west or wherever. Who remembers the 2013 Auburn team? They were expected to win 4 or 5 games and ended up playing FSU for a national championship. Georgia last season was predicted to win 8 or 9 games and we all know how that panned out.
All I’m saying is you have to wait and see what happens. If the “expert” predictions are correct, which they seldomly are, then I’ll be eating my words. If LSU gets hot and runs through the SEC West, the world will be shocked.
We are the underdog. I hope y’all are ready. You can’t help but LOVE an underdog.

Personally I would rather be the team everyone is gunning for not the underdog.

This is a fresh take. I was actually going to hop in my time machine and fast forward to January but I think I'll just sit tight, keep living my life and go to and watch LSU games this season instead.

Yes. It hurt bad but in all honesty, we needed a wake up call. It was embarrassing yes, but it brought this group together and humbled them. I can bet that they’ll never take another OOC G5 opponent lightly.

LAST year has no bearing on this one, unless someone wants to keep muddling up things....and the same 11-2 Troy....not exactly a pushover as some want to make them sound.

I don’t EXPECT a championship but you gotta love it that we’re at the bottom of the totem pole and have to climb back to the top. Nothing is given we gotta earn it. A tougher than normal schedule year is the perfect time to send a message to CFB that LSU is still here and ain’t going anywhere.

This is lazy. Past performance can often be the best predictor of future performance. Hopefully that loss has stuck with them and they want to avoid that feeling at all costs.

If we play our cards right, by November we will be the team everyone is gunning for. That’s the whole point of this. Start from scratch and by the end of the year everyone is completely mind blown on how LSU turned it around. All I want is for the national narrative to be is “wow, LSU is still relevant and can play ball!”

No they won't! They will lie and say the actually wanted LSU to win and their constant complaining and bad mouthing of everything about LSU was intended to make us better!
