depends on who comes back. we don't necessarily need a FB (Ridley did fine in 2010 without one, we used a ton of 2 TE sets), and Melvin Jones might turn out to be good.

if Hill and HIlliard go, the TB spot would've been kinda thin without Blue. hell, it's still not in great shape. but it does look better.

And this is why I've grown to hate Tiger fans ... great news for player x turns into a shitfest against player y.

and the fumble was pretty bad.
It was atrocious. I felt like they should've let Neighbors run it in right there anyway, considering that he comes from a long line of gumps and shunned their program for ours.

1/2 of this is correct.

Neighbors is a solid FB who doesn't destroy people but plays the position smart.

Copeland is a big bruiser who will obliterate the occasional defender, but who is also prone to whiffs, fumbles (lost one in last year's Bama game, got saved by a false start), and inexcusable personal fouls.

They're different players, and that's why they were both used this year.

He also got a dead ball 15 yarder the previous year against that same defense that killed a crucial drive in the red zone.

WTF is wrong with you man? An LSU football player gets good news and all you can do is bad mouth him. Is your freaking life so miserable that you can only see the negative side of things? Are you so jealous of his abilities that you have to try to bring him down? What is wrong with you?

He's an LSU football player. A good thing just happened to him. This constant negative crap that you spew is old, tired and boring. It's not funny. It doesn't make you a big man. It's not interesting. Please go away.

Can we finally just admit that Blue is just average? Quit waiting for him to become something he isn't.

That is awesome news. I had high hopes for Blue this year and called him the best RB on the team. I'll eat my crow for that. I'll be pumped if he comes back next year. Definitely will help with the depth at tailback considering Kenny and Jeremy are pretty much gone.

Take it easy. He fumbled against the best defense in college football.
Who's that, Copeland? Why isn't the "Great Recruiting" RB coach teaching ball security and constantly reinforcing ball security during a game? No excuse what so ever for a fumble down on the goal line like that.

You are saying this based upon your vast experience carrying the ball on the goal line against SEC opponents?

WTF have you EVER contributed to LSU football other than bitching and crying?

How freaking perfect have you EVER been at anything?

There was no reason to turn this into a bash Copeland thread. But I think the point they're making is that Copeland made critical errors against Bama two years in a row. They hurt.
