Read some of the comments.

As for Saturday's performance, would we have done any better with QB2 playing than with QB1 playing at 90%? LSU won, but we beat ourselves. (Get your minds outta my gutter.) Am I bummed that we lost? Not too much. The team needed the incentive to win the CFP, if we get a slot. LSU left them hungry, MS State should be interesting until late in the second quarter, and Auburn is barely going to rise to the level of a snack. For MS State and Western Carolina we need to have Tua resting (protecting). I do not believe that is going to hurt his Heisman chances.

I mean he's right. He's probably locked up 3rd or 4th place. Skipping a couple games won't hurt that.

I wish Auburn and Alabama would become continuously shite just to see the state eat itself

I like the committee havibg the flexibility to keep them out if they chose.

At this point Bama needs a lot of help but crazier things have happened. If 4 out of lsu, clemson, osu, uga, Oregon, utah, minny, psu, ou and baylor run the table, they are out!

Honestly, even Minnesota has a better resume' than Bama right now.

Alabama fan thinks college football revolves around their program and deserves special treatment because they're alabama?

Welcome to the past 40 years

aLabama just haaaad to keep that UT cross division "rivalry" going. Couldn't let it go and balance out the sec schedules or anything sensible like that. Just think, they could've had a UGA or florida win to boost that schedule a bit.

I hope its coming back to bite them in the arse.

Bama fatigue - they clearly have no idea how the rest of the country views them. Everyone is sick of them and their cheating ways. This just gives more reason to loathe them.

I think that paper would have received a C+ in an 8th grade level English course. What terrible writing.

I agree with everyone else laughing at them for the reasons posted by others. But I had to remark how about how poorly it was written.

I found almost NOTHING in this article that actually helps their cause. In fact after this circulates for a week or so and other papers respond with their own editorials (because it is that bad), which ESPN is sure to pick up on, they are going to severely hurt their own school's ongoing PR campaign.

I can imagine Saban being furious over this. This is how NOT to maintain an positive-perception to 'get help'.

How does one go through a SEC schedule and have pre-set kickoff classics and only play 1 top-10 team? I don't think I've seen that in a decade. Just an SEC schedule alone should get you 2.

It's really quite simple:
1-3 are undefeated P-5 teams.

4. Georgia beat Notre Dame and Florida and lost to S. Carolina
5. Bama lost to LSU and has a best win vs unranked A&M

They valued 2 wins over Top 15 teams and a bad loss over no wins over a Top 25 team and a "good" loss.

Exactly. A "good" loss shouldn't be the game any playoff team hangs their hat on. They're really pushing hard for this now that it fits their narrative.

If UGA beats Auburn this weekend, then Bama's best win would be over a 3-loss team. They know their schedule is garbage and that's why they're trying to spin the loss to us as a "win." It's pathetic.
