Am I the only person who would be psyched to get those guys again? This does not have the same feel as the last time this happened in 2011. We got by them in 2011.

This year, we beat them on both sides of the ball, and they were very lucky to be as close as they were. I really believe we would bash them if we play again, something like 42-20.

How sweet would it be to beat those assholes twice in the same season? Especially after 2011.

I prefer beating Clemson and Ohio State. Leave no doubt.

they don't deserve another shot! just like they didn't deserve a shot the other 2 times they didn't win their division, but still made the playoff.

Kicking their arse in the Title game in the same building that 1/9 happened would be the ultimate form of justice for that screw job we got that year

I don’t want to play them in the Semis though

We've proved we can kick their arse. Why should we have to prove it again.

I've been warming up to the notion that they may be the best option as far as match-up at #4, yes. I've still got a degree of spite in me that doesn't want to see them, but that's about it.

I don’t want it to happen...not because I think we will lose but because if we somehow did lose, it would set back our momentum as a program waaaaay more than if we lose to a Clemson or Ohio St...we killed he boogie man, I don’t want it to rise again so soon

Depends on Baylor. People will be screaming bloody hell if Baylor beats OU, and Alabama gets in. No way Bama gets in over Baylor, which would have won their division, and conference title.

Exactly. It's hilarious that Finebaum went on the air and accused the voters of anti-Bama bias. Nobody outside of the state of Alabama wants to see the damn Gumps in the CFP again, especially when they didn't earn it on the field.

Clemson looks like a strong team, well balanced but that's also vs the weak competition they play. I Have seen how they play in playoff in recent years

This isn't an argument about who should be in etc etc. I'm just saying that it would be sweet justice to get a streak started against those guys early by beating them twice in the same season when it took us eight long years to get here. Especially when it was that loss in the Mulligan Bowl that started that streak to begin with.

This is the correct answer.

IDGAF. They should have won if they wanted in. I'll be glad to not have to listen to Gary slob on their knob again after this week, and even more glad to watch them in a non-playoff game.

Numerous posters have posted that they’d love to get Bama again, but yeah, you’re the ONLY ONE.

We owe Clemson an arse whooping for basically giving them the Peach Bowl that helped elevate them into elite status.

I agree that it would be sweet karmic justice to beat them in NOLA, but if it were up to me, I wouldn't take the risk. We have too much to lose and they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. It would essentially undo everything we've been able to accomplish on the field, and everyone but LSU fans would forget that we ever beat them the first time.
