Why can’t the LSU administration and the BR police do something to make the traffic situation better after the games?

They make the majority of the people leave at halftime. The traffic at the end of the game should be a breeze.

Im sure there are some things they can do to improve it a bit, but that is a large amount of people all leaving a place at once, with most of them trying to get to 1 interstate. Only so much you can do.

Well it’s not any better after the game. We stay till the end and still sit in traffic for an hour and an half

You are doing something wrong. We haven't had to sit in traffic longer than 20 minutes ever. Most of the time it's less than 5 minutes.

This, we stayed till the end, waited 30 minutes at the tailgate and hit Nicholson, north, I-10 to Laffy in a snap.

we left game mid 4th quarter, walked down dalrympel, and were on I 10 in 15 minutes last nite. BR is not designed to accommodate LSU traffic. It aint gonna get any better.

It's not just here. Auburn and Fayetteville are cluster fricks too. And much smaller than BR. The SEC should work together during meetings to improve it as traffic is a huge reason for empty Second Half Seats.

The fact that you can exit the campus in only 3 directions, all surface streets as opposed to 4 is more restrictive than people realize . That damn River ......

What is the SEC gonna do?

Completely tear out the whole campus area and make more streets for the sole purpose of a handful of weekends in the fall?

When you have that many vehicles trying to exit the area it will not be smooth.

We left with 5 minutes left walked to walk ons, jumped kn the car and headed up Burbank, traffic flowed great.

Only issue for us is we needed to get to S Acadian so had to take a longer route, but when we dont stay the night we get out pretty easily
