Well, first of all, I don't even like the Saints, so I don't really give 2 shits if they sign LSU guys or not. But when 11 other clubs have drafted more LSU players than the team an hour down the road, something just doesn't add up. Maybe that's the case with other teams as well, but when something like 126 Tigers have been drafted since 2000, and only 3 of those have been by the Saints, it just seems odd.
And signing a guy as a UDFA doesn't change that.

Glad he gets a chance, but the Saints have one of the best & deepest OL in football. No doubt he can play & his versatility will help. Thinking Clapp could be in trouble. If he can get to the practice squad, he could stick for a few years.

And if he makes it a few years he will make a lot of money .....even if he never plays an actual game
If smart a few years here and set the money up to start a business or invest..
