Accepting a bowl bid this season would be embarrassing and humiliating!

Bowls are supposed to be a reward for a good season. I know this season hasn't been a great season for a lot of teams, but no 3/4-win team needs to be invited to play in a bowl game. I know it gives teams additional time to work with some of the younger players, but O needs to spend that time finding the next coordinators that will be coaching these young men next season.

Every thread you make is embarrassing and humiliating. Why anyone would think more practice/game experience for these young players is a bad idea is beyond stupid.

Not as many more as you would think this season.
I dont think yhe little bit of extra practice will be as beneficial as in normal bowl season but I wouldn't turn down the chance for them

Everyone gets a bowl because of the extra practices/loss of games. Its a fair trade for how f’d the season has been for many programs

This is a 7-5 or 6-6 season apples to apples. We would have had 8 conference games and gone 3-5. We would have had 4 rent a wins so 7-5.

You accept a bowl invite this year for more practice not to beat your chest about making a bowl game. Take the chance to develop the players more.

The added week or 2 of bowl game prep is an added 20-40 hrs with the team for development.
