Aaron Rodgers on @PatMcAfeeShow on what he told Joe Burrow after the game:

“Slide. You’re too damn talented. You’ve got so much in front of you to accomplish in this league.”

I do fear with his offensive line (which has been better this year) and his refusal to slide his career might be cut drastically short.

I agree with Aaron here. Good advice.

Especially when he was still 2 yards short of the first.

His line is way better than they were last year.

AR also mentioned how he enjoys getting to hear Coach O speak & his "mastery of the english language"
"i enjoy his dialect &... the way that he talks"

Joe needs to listen and ease up on the tough guy imagery. It's about longevity and success. Not how tough you were in a short career.

True but it brings up something I remember hearing Don Meredith or one of the other MNF announcers say when Terry Bradshaw was a rookie QB. TB took off running and got absolutely blasted and one of them said something like "that guy won't last long in this league if he keeps doing that"

Burrow isn't trying to look tough. He's the ultimate competitor. There's a reason why the players at OSU loved him despite him being the 2nd and 3rd string QB. He needs to play smarter and not take unnecessary hits, but I don't see him shying away from anyone.

He just doesn’t want Joe to qualify for that Rogers’ rate

Thisnis usually something an NFL QB leaned after this kind of hit.

Coach will talk to him.
