Coach Robe understood it was about more than just baseball and wins and losses. He was a great coach but he will always be remembered for the lessons that he taught, which is exactly how he would have wanted it. Rest in peace #36

I wrote a small piece on my FB page about this very thing. You know you lived the right way when people who really didn’t know you can talk positively about you and you’re career as a baseball coach but he was much more than that to his players, of course his family and his community.

When they had his prayer vigil at the field I knew that things weren’t looking so good and sure enough he passed the next morning. Just very sad and Ragin Cajun baseball as well as his community will miss him greatly.

RIP Coach Tony Robichaux.

Very well done piece and gave you a great glimpse into Tony Robichaux, the man. Always had a ton of respect for him. RIP and best wishes, moving forward, to his family, friends and the ULL family.

RIP Coach
