-19 players have caught a ball
-13 players have multiple receptions
-12 players are averaging 10+ yards per reception
-8 different players have scored a touchdown

Regardless of the season outcome, to be this efficient with that many people touching the ball is insane.

I'm sure some of those numbers, through only 3 games, eclipse entire season totals from last year.

When Brady said 'everybody eats', he meant it.

A negative stat is that LSU is near the bottom of offensive time of possession.
Good news...we score fast.
Bad news...the defense is out there a long time.
The fix...defense needs to get more 3 and outs.

All those stats are amazing and stat 1 was 14 after game one I think, which is crazy. However, 12 players averaging 10+ yards per catch is insane and other worldly!

Assuming 'one step at a time' on the defense righting the ship...

Well, with offense clicking for the first time in a very very long time we'll be playing opponents who are trying to play catch up much more than we're used to.

Step 1: Make them fear the middle of the field.

I don't see anyone scared to go there on us right now. QBs don't seem worried about Delpit. The LBs aren't covering well and out of position. Or getting moved out of position.

Texas worked us in the middle. So did the Demons, for a time.

Start taking some heads off, stop giving big empty areas. Make them throw to Fulton and Stingley. Things will right themselves.

If we're going to do this zone thing so much and we're going to be facing much more passing than we have in the past, the middle of the field should be a lava field. If you go there you get burned.

Only positive of the suspensions, many second and third teamers get a lot of reps. O and A should know who he can count on and who needs more coaching.

No better way to keep backups interested. They now know when they go into a game that there's a good chance of actually touching the ball.

This also severely decreases the chances of opposing defenses keying on one or two guys in a given situation.

That always drove me mad in years past. I could guess the play at least 60 percent of the time based on personnel and formation. Nah, we weren't predictable at all.
