99 yard drive

Heard bowser on radio say this was the longest ever (obviously 99 yards) but also the most plays and time of possession? True?

I don't know but given Bowser's track record for always being wrong about everything I'd just guess false.

There was a 15 yard penalty that really made it 114 yards

We had a 19 play (I think) drive when we went to Arizona back in 2002. On that drive, we did not even attempt a pass.

There was a 99 yard drive against South Carolina in 2003, IIRC.

It was a 99 1/2 yard drive. I ws at the game and LSU did what they wanted to during that drive.

I thought Manning was pretty complimentary and well informed on LSU, I didn't mind it. Anything that gets Verne talking less, I am for.
