Losing to Miss St doesn't just happen because you had an off day. It's symptomatic of a bigger problem.

Nope
Not unless Brennan becomes much quicker with his decision making
Offensive line has to play better as well, running lanes were not there

I don't think there is any conclusive reason why 9-1 is not a possibility.

O has shown more than once that he knows how to light a fire. I don't personally think we go 9-1 now, I said 8-2 earlier this year. Now it's looking more like 7-3/6-4. But if we beat the shite out of Vandy (which we are capable), roll Mizzou, I don't see any reason why we can't compete with UF. IMO they are the toughest team we will face all year.

Jesus dude. When is the last time an LSU team that looked bad in the beginning of the year didn't get better? 2008 maybe? We started 19 new faces, they will definitely get better. Not to mention we will add the best defensive player in the country.

Why? Brennan gets his read and release time to under 2.5s. Pelini's pressure D fell apart with too many 3 and outs by the offense. If LSU's O scores, it increases the pressure on the other team and we capitalize on turnovers.

Why not? Brennan continues to struggle with timing, and our O is prone to be stagnant multiple series in a game. The pressure D is then prone to give up big plays, and the turnover ratio is for naught because our O does nothing with it.

Because if our DB’s don’t get better fast, we’re going to get embarrassed by Florida and Bama. Imagine crossing routes with Waddle and Devonta Smith as opposed to Miss State’s receivers. Now imagine Pitts and Toney from Florida.

Hell our DB’s got torched last year by both of those teams and we had Stingley, Delpit, Vincent, and Fulton.

The Florida game will be a slaughter. So will Bama. I could see Ole Miss and A&M beating the team fielded last Saturday.

I posted several times on here before the State game that their fans were saying they would come in here and beat us. I said we needed to to take that game seriously and it was crucial to our season. So here we are.

Games we likely will win: Vandy, Mizzou, SCar, Ark and Ole Miss.
Games we probably will lose: Fla, Auburn and Bama.
Games we may be able to win: A&M

If we improve a little we're looking at 4-6, 5-5 or 6-4 at best.

If we have significant improvement compared to what showed up last Saturday: 7-3 or 8-2 at best. 8-2 means we would have to take 3 of 4 versus Fla, Aub, Bama and A&M. That seems like a long-shot right now.
