That would be funny if it wasn't true!

It's amazing what ONE good year can for a guy's contracts. Scotty and the board definitely paid out after that 2019 season but since then, has the record and product on the field been worth it? Heck no!

ONE good year

Won 10 games, a New Year's Six bowl and finished #6 in the nation in 2018. That's not too shabby.

2018 should have been 10-2 regular season with a sugar bowl berth. But I’m kinda glad that didn’t happen because Texas might have put 100 on that depleted defense.

How many other coaches created a season to the magnitude of 2019? Like it or not he was going to get paid for delivering on a National championship. He might have sold his soul to the devil for it, but he’s now one of five active coaches with a National championship

I take it you didn’t go to the National Championship because Nola was unreal and all worth it.

Suck it up. We’ll be back.

If he can settle his personal life issues (mid life crisis) and focus on football and making better decisions he could be fine. He is not as stubborn as Les (bringing in Joe Brady to change the offense) so there is hope with BeBe.
