It's seven Florida starters out.

quote:

According to GatorBait.net and Florida insider Thomas Goldkamp, Jim McElwain confirmed that seven starters are already ruled out for Saturday, including quarterback Luke Del Rio, and two more are questionable.

In addition to Del Rio, those already declared out include center Cameron Dillard (left knee), left tackle David Sharpe (right foot), defensive end Bryan Cox Jr. (right ankle), linebackers Alex Anzalone (broken left arm) and Jarrad Davis (ankle) and safety Marcus Maye (broken arm). Starting offensive lineman Tyler Jordan (right ankle) and defensive end CeCe Jefferson (ankle) are also questionable.

Del Rio being out might be better for them.

Let's not forget the UNC game in 2010 when they had most of their starters out and we snuck by 30-24 in Atlanta at the Kickoff Classic.
Had their tight end not dropped a pass in the end zone they would have beaten us.

When a coach heavily advertises his injuries like this, he is either adjusting expectations for his own fans or trying to set up the opposing team.
Coming off a win, going to BR, it might just be the latter....

I thought about that too but on 2nd thought Miles was the head coach.
