#7 situation

With all the things going around how the number 7 thing should be taken out and how stupid it is. I wish we would follow the footsteps of some colleges and make the player earn it at practice. At the start of the week 7 is not announced and by the end of the week the person who works the hardest and gives it there all for the team earns it for that week. Instead of having these players get confident that "Oh well I am the best player on the team, I dont have to work my assee off everyday" Just a though

Why does this bother the fans so much? The players care about it. It means something to them. That’s all that matters.

You're looking at it wrong. Players who wear #7 see all the great players who wore that number before them and instead thinking they're the best, look to live up to be the best
