All year we have been the underdog except against MS State. And we keep proving the “know-it-all’s” wrong. The game in two weeks will be no different. With or without white, we are probably going to be a 14-17 point underdog against a Bama team scoring 50 points a game. Yes, they haven’t played anybody this year and this could be an eye opener for them. This game could be the defining moment of CEO’s career. If we win this game to go 8-1, the SEC and all of college football will be better for it.

7-5 still possible, baw...

Seriously though, hard to see less than 9-3 at this point.

I thought 9-3 was the ceiling for this team. Now it looks like the floor.

O deserves all the credit in the world for beating the odds makers. This team needed a right now QB and a kicker and he went out and got both.

I will always stand by my opposition of choosing O as the Miles replacement (at the time), but the way things are going make me look damn wrong. I can live with that.

This isn’t just about wins and losses either. The team looks well coached.

9-3 would be disappointing, based off they way they have played so far this season.

Need a younger, up to date OC and this team will be real good for years to come.

Agreed, but losses to Bama and A&M are far from unthinkable. 10-2 seems like a betting man’s choice though.

Unlike some of the media, you can admit it looks like you were incorrect.

On the point about replacing Miles, how could you not see the x's and o's of his game were horrible and most coaches would be an improvement.

I'm not talking about the character of the man or the players he recruited.

His offense, his choice of who played, how he did or didn't use players, clock management, interfering with the offensive coordinator, using or not using timeouts.

He was just bad. They won mostly because they had better talent. Miles could have stayed in the locker room and it would have not made a difference. In fact, in some cases, it would have absolutely helped.

I didn’t oppose replacing Miles, although in hindsight I wish it had been at the end of 2015. I can’t believe our best option was Ole Miss’ worst coach ever. Obviously, as only a fan, I don’t know the real situations though.

... and, as I said, looking to be a good choice in the rear view mirror!

Defending Miles though, how different of a team are we than a Miles team, even post 1-9-12?

2015: 8-0 heading into Bama, ranked #2

O’s biggest moves that changed the course of this season are Burrow and Tracy. Big kudos to him there.

Think you also need to give O credit for going out & getting a few more linemen. Also, I think he took a hit in recruiting ratings when he signed all those linemen, but in years to come, we will look back on this class & think it was the beginning of something special.

Our OC is ding a good job - has nothing to do with age.

I predicted 6-6, 7-5 with a couple lucky breaks an 8-4 as a damned miracle.

I was wrong....

I see us 9-3 at worst and 10-2 at best. I hope I post at the end of the season I again underestimated the team.
