Gonna be deep next year. Hopefully beam is completely wide open and they address some of the routine construction

can we expect the same heartbreak?
I'm guessing most teams will be bringing back their top seniors which means LSU will be on outside looking in

We should have advanced to four on the floor this year. All we had to do was be mediocre on beam to advance and we ended up being much worse than mediocre.

LSU can get there next year but they got to address beam and fix bars dismounts.

Every year I hear this about LSU gym. It’s always the beam.

Beam was a mess this year (not much consistency) but to win a natty, it’s gonna take more than just cleaning up beam. We gotta maximize scores in every place possible to get there. This includes upgrading the fulls on vault (despite being a strong event). Every tenth matters and adds up between all 4 events.

We will have a very talented team with a lot to work with

I'm surprised that many are coming back. Even at this young age, most gymnast are ready to move on with their lives after spending so much time in the gym. The top gymnast in the country from last year, who had won individual championships in 18 and 19 didn't come back this year.

I didn’t think 2020 seniors were given that option. Tigerbait357, please correct me if I’m wrong.

My frustration with the postseason judging is it seems they would rather see a flawless lower routine than a harder routine with errors. In my mind, go as easy as you can and stack up 9.8 and 9.9’s. The 9.7’s and below from falls and bad corrections are killers.

College gymnastics is more about the fun and team aspect. Not nearly as draining as being an elite gymnast. The biggest thing for gymnasts at this stage is how their bodies are holding up. Which is why the announcement of all of them returning was a pleasant surprise. Even if they have a reduced role next year, they each have an event that they do well

The freshmen coming in will push many of the returnees as well. Should be good competition.

This is going to be interesting with the talent already on the roster and the talent coming in.

I see each of the young ladies contributing heavily in their primary event, but as 357 stated, they need to adjust the makeup of their routines.

I couldn’t even do that on a flat floor.

I generally strongly dislike wolf turns, maybe because most elites who do them are wonky as hell but I’m sure if Aleah did it she’d make it look good but she doesn’t even do it in her elite routine so doubt it be in her college routine lol

Well for 40 years “Duh D” had the Shaver’s Disorder, and when she approached the throne-room, this current HC brought them there as the Sequined-Smacker paraded her geriatric azz, as though she was doing the heavy lifting, publicly playing feminist with Goldbriquette-Cleopatra! Two years in a row, Scott W sacked them both and he was not fooled by these POSEURS!!! Hallelujah!!

Duh-D was the Golbricking Inventor at LSU!!
