So, how storied our program has become.

Soon I hope someone is going to wake the frick up and realize we are mediocore at best with our current baseball staff.

Why are you measuring from 2018?

Because some will say that that he’s overreacting if he just includes this epic collapse in a game we desperately needed, even with a series win. He’s showing the downward trend that should be leading to manieri’s retirement at the end of this season

Why not?

3 year span seems appropriate. And yes I realize 4 seasons, but Covid shortened a season that was looking pretty awful.

Trends, barometers, stats, whatever. They don't lie.

Because it’s immediately after the most recent high point of the program

The downward spiral shows.

If LSU football had two losing seasons in a row, God forbid three, we'd be burning and looting.

At LSU, until Wade showed up, and in recent history, football and baseball were the only two sports everyone seemed to follow as much.

We haven’t had a losing conference record in baseball in 10 years. What are you talking about with this post?

I mean, to be fair, 3 years is a pretty good sample size to analyze performance.

Use any dates you want as long as it includes current season and recent past seasons. It's still a mediocre record that is way below LSU standards since 1985 started the resurrection of a bad program into a winner.

Only one person to be held responsible. Should be gone!

2018 15-15, 2 seed at OSU
2019 17-13, regional and super regional host
2020 no sec season
2021 6-12

I mean 38-39 certainly isn’t good at all for us but for the purposes of this thread it’s incredibly and intentionally misleading. Like we’re all aware Paul’s time is up, but FFS that SEC record wasn’t awful the first two years of this block of time. This year it’s terrible and makes the overall 3 year time period look worse

Storied? That would be a compliment.

You must have meant stale.

Woody is carrying a big stick. Coach Kim Mulkey is gonna rule LSU and Mainieri’s reign is about to sour.

I can take the current coach or leave him, but he’s been at LSU since 2007 and if someone is gonna measure something it shouldn’t be from the last 4 years and that was a including a partial season.

32-28 in the SEC is acceptable to you?

Your standards have lowered.

We are LSU.
