At 5 PM, Tiger Park against Ohio State.

Going to be a pretty exciting weekend, it will be hard to predict the lineup since there have been a lot of different arrangements with the outfield and infield as well.

Majority of the lineup will remain the same, I expect to see some different looks at 3rd base and at 2nd base, as well as some different players in the outfield. Will be pretty exciting to get back out there again.
If you aren't doing anything tomorrow, come out to Tiger Park!

I recommend sitting in the outfield....

All lead by, a little too early to say.... but could be the greatest coach in LSU softball history. She is taking this program to new heights with unlimited potential

FWIW, tomorrow is a doubleheader. Ohio State at 5:00, then North Florida at 7:30. Both on SECN+.

I'm definitely expecting a big season from softball. Most of the pieces from last year's WCWS team are back, and we added some talented new ones. Should be fun!

How much, if any, playing time is Thymes, from brusly, expected to see?

It's a shame they won't be able to finish the season after the university closes in April.

I hate to miss opening weekend, but I'm going to Palm Springs next weekend and will be able to give reports from there. I'm really looking forward to this season.

Beth spoke at my coaches clinic in Houston in January where over 450 coaches attended. I'm still getting compliments from them on how much they were impressed by her.

I think if Constance Quinn has improved defensively she should see most of the looks at 2nd base, but dont be surprised to see a lot of freshman used. Also, Sydney Smith will get a lot of action this year, she is good enough to be a freshman all american

Thymes won't see much playing time this year. Have you seen the returning lineup?

Thymes will definitely see some opportunities for that remaining outfield spot.
It will be a trial and error type thing. I would not take much into this first month. I Kloss and Jaquish will both get looks at catcher. Which will allow Satchell, Provost, Serrett and Kramer to get looks at 3B. Whats most exciting is too much talent everywhere. Even these freshman can step in and make a difference out the gates. Savannah Jaquish mentioned not long ago that she expects a couple of the freshman to make a pretty big impact early.

Almost game time 365. Love those pictures and especially the horse and rally face with Torina.
