It’s hard to fluff up Miles’ last offensive classes.

Maybe CLM should have hired better assistants?

What happened after those 3 yrs?

Don't you know? Let me clue ya in.

After the 2007 season, Miles and the football program endured back to back mediocre seasons, mostly due (in my opinion) to having a QB tossed out of the program who couldn't follow the rules placed on members of the football team.

After that, Miles and the program went 4 straight years with double digit wins (44-9 record) winning the SEC West once, the SEC Championship once and going to a National Championship game.

That was followed by another mediocre year, and then his final full year where the team was playing good ball, until the wheels fell off when November rolled around.

I would have thought that someone that has been on the rant since 2010 would have already known all of this.

Miles recruited very well, excepting QBs. His last few classes were poor to mediocre, offensively. That came to roost in 2018. It would’ve been far worse had Orgeron not lured Burrow.

What happened was Saban and Bama. The big difference between when CLM started and O started was when CLM took over he didn’t have to face the dynasty that Bama is now.

And he had significant numbers of Nick Saban recruits on his roster for several years.

Care to enlighten us with some "new math"?

Miles became LSU's HC on Jan 2, 2005. So he inherited Saban's recruited classes of '05, '04, '03, '02 and possibly even couple from '01. So yeah, Miles had significant numbers of Nick Saban recruits on his roster for several years.

Bama won their first championship under Saban in 2009. Les beat him twice after that.

The 2011 team that was undefeated in the regular season and went to the NC was 100% Les Miles's players. Not that I'd expect you to know that.

That doesn't change the fact that Miles had significant numbers of Nick Saban recruits on his roster for several years.

According to what? The ranking fan sites? Or the needs of the team?

According to the same measures that we're using to rank the current coach's classes.
