And our fan base expects the 2000 Rams. While we should have moved the ball better against a FCS team, starting slow out of the gate was sort of expected, right?

No. Our coach said as much. This performance on Saturday was absolutely pathetic.

This is where the constant "Slinger!!!!" and "spread offense is coming!!!!" posts from the off season have come home to roost.

None of the concerns were legitimate. Everything was sunshine and puppies, until it wasn't.

It would be a valid argument if it were a problem in the past. LSU reloads, always has. You can't blame youth or new personnel or even a "new" OC.

Also, SE is not new. His offense is Cam Cameron's with no toss dive and 3 WR sets. That is the ONLY difference.

I saw fast out the gate, then crawling to the finish in each game. Play calling has been an issue. Plenty time to improve it, but it is an issue.

Yep, the never ending floating of new trial balloon excuses.

Wrong

We just expect better than ~120th in the country.

You really upped the quality of your posting over the past few weeks.

There is a lot of middle ground between 2018 Tigers and 2000 Rams

Not at all but sure in the hell expect better than what we saw the last two games. I think everyone was willing to be patient with this offense. I don't think we have seen a sniff of what our head coach told us was to be.

That's the facts!!!! frick max protection!! You better off letting Burrow scramble and run for his life and have the options of having more weapons he can find!!

if we had no OC, we should have done better.

Everything else is just excuses. Our backups should have been able to push them around at will.

Georgia had a new qb last year. teams all across the country have new players who don't look so bad. Coaches game plan and call plays to compensate, except our coaches don't.

Step one to offset poor blocking: throw to slant routes.

I’m sure plenty are frustrated because we thought we’d see a more productive offense, but we can’t lose our minds after the second game.
Nothing wrong with voicing concerns, but some people still feel we’re a rolling dumpster fire.
I saw plenty positives. Defense, special teams, Qb (plenty talent, just needs more coaching). Brossette is working hard. It’s not all bad like some are suggesting.

The offense will be kept under wraps forever.
I hope they go vanilla again vs LA Tech and lose like they did to Troy last year.
No worries though, they hired the Tiger Rag editor to spin all of this to make it all look good.
You wonder why the fans stay home for these non conf games.
With Bahnsen in charge too it means multiple suspensions for every non conf game going forward.

The offense is bad. It's needs more than a minor tweak. The entire team is not bad, but that side of the ball is going to be a major liability in SEC play unless major philosophical changes happen. Do you think 0 is capable of such a thing?

The 2nd half looked horrible. Overall great win for the Tigers. Auburn will be a great test for this young team.

Lots of teams go through changes and challenges- see A&M, ASU, Miss State, etc....

All that are doing fine, if not better. I guess coaching matters.

But let’s keeping lowering the bar for our special HC. He’s one of us.

No.

Our fan base, when told we comin and we are gonna be slinging it with a spread offense, expects that we will be throwing for more than 3 yards in a half against a rent a win and that we would have an offense that wasn’t the worst in the SEC so far this year
