At this point, do you know of another school in the NCAA that has more early departures than LSU?
Why are we just looking at the last 2 years? Why not look at 3 years or 4?

I wonder what those numbers would look like.

I take back my level headed comment then.

I really hope that you catching me missing an apostrophe in my paragraph makes you feel better when you get home and see your wife tonight.

No, i do not. Really kind of the point. LSU has so many in the NFL, but the rest of the conference is catching up. How is that???? Per capita, the state of Louisiana produces more NFL players than any other state so Les has his pick....yet continues to place a ho hum product on the field.

See, ell. This is the kind of retarded shite I call out. The person that said this has to be a retard. LSU football a "ho hum product". Jesus.

Good for some players, bad for us fans....some of these guts are making mistakes but its their choice. College football is being watered down.

Collins was arguably the most important one to get back, since his position is much harder to plug and play than the other ones we lost. He came back soooooooooooooooooo

It's not awful.
It is however counterproductive to the future success of LSU football wins and losses.
I like LSU win more than Trai turner getting few hundred thousand bucks.
Yes I'm selfish.

Let me help you out, and all the other posters with their heads in the sand. LSU nearly doubles the rest of college football with early entrees to the NFL in the last two seasons. LSU has not finished in the top 10 in the final poll either of the last two seasons. The perception is that either LSU players overvalue their ability, or that they are that talented, but they are not coached well in college. Sorry guys, but that is the perception around the country. It is NOT a good image to have. Win the titles, and there won't be any ridicule.

Losing that kind of talent depth hurts period. It makes it very hard to win championships period, and I am not bashing just looking at the real world.

And somebody else gets it too.
Truth.

This isn't true. I am from Baton Rouge, and currently live in the Northeast. People up here in the coaching community and other college fans have nothing but respect for LSU. They are basically in awe of our long term success in the toughest conference in college football. Only when I visit home, do I hear the negativity and BS. Outside of La, LSu gets much respect.

Looks like a pretty good endorsement for potential recruits. Few want a degree, they want the NFL.

Why would anyone redshirt?

yup

2008 - 5 losses
2009 - 4 losses
2010 - 2 losses
2011 - 1 loss
2013 - 3 losses
2014 - 3 losses

We are seriously under utilizing talent if that's the best we can do with elite athletes

It was the same way in Arizona. Some people just like to build up narratives in their own mind and project them into reality.
