This is LSU, you don’t go out and hire up and coming coaches. You hire coaches that know how to win championships

Why do y’all keep trying to force this one?
The dude was handed the keys to a damn good program and pissed it away. He didn’t take his job seriously enough and his own players ratted his arse out.

How long has he been a high school coach? Doesn’t look like there’s colleges knocking on his door.

Chad Caillet is garbage.

The guy at Charlotte is showing promise but needs more time. Needs to sustain success after following Link Jarrett there.

Riser is not a level c option. He is high B or A, but what do I know. Go read some of the other articles you didn’t rip off to get this list.

Was my least favorite on the list. He’s done some good things but I added him for the Woodward-Childress connection. Tho I know he’s rather new to A&M

I considered brown. I’m not sure I want to tap into Vandy with their built in recruiting advantage. Does it translates to LSU? Dunno

The direction that baseball as a whole is going means that the next coach is going to need to be great at development or great at recruiting JUCOs.

McDonnell is the best developer in the country, IMO. Vitello has great JUCO connections. Tadlock is the best combo, but the most unlikely of those.

MATT RISER, SELU HC

NOLAN CAIN, LSU asst/Rec Coor

Should not be on any list related to anything regarding a head coaching position at LSU

Not going to happen with all the title ix investigations going on.

But other than that not a bad list.

So do you think we will have a new LSU baseball coach for next year?
