You think the team will be better than last year? They may go 10-0 but I highly doubt they win all by double digits.

I think they’ll have their own style with a lot more great TE play and esp with peeps doubling Chase. Myles will be a Force from the opening game (vs Ole Miss) to the closer.
You will see the Great Lob (aka bomb) and thrown 60+ yards, this rarely seen with LSU.
I’m seeing a few points less per game at 45 but giving up far fewer points with Pelini’s 4-3 at 16. If LSU’s offense scores over 40 ppg we will win the SEC. If they score 50+ it would not surprise me.

My predictions:
Sep 26 vs. Ole Miss — LSU 45 - 24 (would be a bigger blowout but no tune up game to wipe off rust)
Oct 3 at Vanderbilt — LSU 50 - 10
Oct 10 at Florida — FLA 24 - 20 (could see it going either way)
Oct 17 at. Arkansas — LSU 58 - 0
Oct 24 vs. Miss St. — LSU 42 - 10
Nov 7 vs. Alabama — LSU 21 - 17 (could go either way)
Nov 14 vs. So. Car — LSU 56 - 10
Nov 21 at Auburn — LSU 34 - 28
Nov 28 at TAMU — LSU 45 - 35 (last min TD by them makes it look closer)
Dec 5 vs Missouri — LSU 42 - 13
SECCG vs FLA — LSU 42 - 21
I could see anything from 8-2 to 10-0. I expect at least one of the cupcakes to be closer than they should (within 20)
But I like yours better
ETA: this assumes those dates are accurate. If SEC restructures and we get A&M, AU, FLA, Bama in consecutive weeks, we’re probably not going 10-0 unless Myles has a Burrow-type season

I’ve bled PurpnGold since I was two and knew what an LSU Tiger was, and that was looking up to my Grandpa Ryan, a 1908 LSU National Champ. I thought I’d seen it all until I watched Myles throw a 64th TD to win a Mississippi 4-A state championship as a Soph. He repeated the feat as a junior and without a great WR Corps, only threw 48 TDs with 3 picks as a SR. Myles is a machine and the Football Gods watch and smile when he steps up to throw.
In all my years, I ain’t never seen a better HS QB than Myles and I watched Bert Jones in HS. This new Saints based Sean Payton scheme can NOT be stopped. Myles knows how to run it. Myles knows how to do all his checks and he has great results in his backup play and scrimmages. Myles knows how to get rid of the ball and rarely will take a sack. He’s 110% of what you want in a great QB.
Follow logic just for a minute!
1. Look at Clemson game stats (80 plays)
31-49 for 463 yards and 5 TDs
30 rushes for 168 yards 1 TD
THESE #’s = NEW LSU STANDARD
80 plays a game! 50 passes a game!
This opens EXPLOSIVE rushing! You think God gave LSU a 1-eyed blind baw to come here and fail when that 1-eyed blind baw was the best RB coming out of HS. You cannot script this stuff. Emery is 1/3rd of the TNT coming in 2020 with sub 4.4 speed.
2. Increase TE passes from 8% (Moss) To Payton Saints Template 20% (Gilbert, Taylor)
Gilbert/Taylor TE duo will rip SEC a new one
LSU will lead America with 60%+ on 3rd Down Conversions — Mark it!
3. Brennan has the best low bullet in CFB and the chains will move. We may see less than 100 third downs in 2020 because this Pass First offense will be so productive.
4. Brennan has the Great Lob (Bomb) that Joe did not have with a 55-yard arm. Too bad Covid will prevent 103K from jamming our stadium and roaring when it strikes.
