That team had 38 over 5 years when you factor in redshirts. 2019 Lsu has 14 as we all know with 4 years to go. We need an average of 6 guys a draft class to tie, which is very possible. Could just add to the goat status even more!

Not to mention with college transfer portals and everything else, that would make that accomplishment all the more impressive.

LSU hardly redshirts anyone anymore though

I’m convinced you take last years team and with 5 years of NFL experience, they would be legit contenders.

really quick breakdown from my viewpoint (I'm sure there are a few guys I left off, and a handful that could be moved into a different group)

Locks
Stingley
Chase
Marshall
Ingram
Shelvin
JaCoby
Racey

High probability
Kary Vincent
Deculus
Dare
Ika
Flott

Probably so
Glen Logan
Damone Clark
Farrell
Marcel Brooks

Need to see em more, but feel good about their chances
Hines57
Brennan
Mo Hampton
Tyrion

The athleticism/ talent is there
(basically '19 recruits who haven't played much if at all)

Emery
Trey Palmer
Devonta Lee
Anthony Bradford
Kardell

Wildcards
TK McLendon
Chris Curry
Baskerville
Todd Harris
Justin Thomas

That would be so nice to have York drafted, I thought for sure someone was going to take Cole Tracy and am still in shock rn that that guy is not kicking and helping some of these NFL teams win.... I didn't realize that they relied so much on a multipurpose kicker being able to do multiple things....the playoffs would have looked different last year if he was on a few of those teams. I mean dead on inside 40yarder is pretty fricking good

LSU already passed 2001 Miami. They only had 11 players selected in 2002. Plus they only beat 1 top 5 team

Off the top of my head

Stingley
Stevens
Ingram
Shelvin
Chase
Vincent
Clark
Hines
Marshall
Brennan (already calling it now)
McMath (already calling it now)
Palmer (already calling it now)
Brooks (already calling it now)
Ika (already calling it now)
At least 2 of the RBs

So I am 99% sure 30 total get drafted from that team.

Possibly Logan, Farrell Jr,, Flott, Hampton, Deculus
