If Aranda does leave, I believe it will be to the NFL. He's extremely technical; the year round recruiting spectical would probably be a huge negative for him. BUT money changes things.

Giles and Dillon will be our top two receivers next year.

I don't know about Dillon, but I believe Giles will be our #1 or #2 WR next year. He's likely the most polished WR on routes and catching because of all the practice and experience he had at Texas Tech, plus if Brennan is the guy, I can see a lot of quick slants, WR screens, and deep posts that he can take full advantage of.

I think Anderson is likely the #1 WR as he is the most polished WR we have playing now outside of Chark. As a high school kid, he reminded me of AJ Green, but talented players ahead of him as a freshman, and his comments in the off-season as a sophomore, has not allowed him to see the field much. I believe he has a breakout year next year. Davis still needs actual WR coaching and Sullivan is similar.we also have guys like Netherly and McMath, who could jump into the top 3-5 spots if the other guys are still slacking.

re: 2018 season opener vs Miami in Arlington..
People saying that because of what we lose we might be 15-17, but finishing out the year strong (hopefully 20+ point wins vs every team the remainder of the year), finishing recruiting strong, and having a really good spring with the QBs showing promise, would hype us as a top 10 team.

They seem to forget 2011. We lost Sheppard (1st team All SEC), Nevis (1st team All SEC, 2nd team All American), and Peterson (Bednarick, Thorpe, 1st team All American, 1st team All SEC in 2 categories), from the 2010 team. We also lost leading WR Tolliver, leading TE Peterson (both two of our top 4 pass catchers), and leading RB Ridley (1150 yards 15 TDs). Plus we still only had Jefferson and Lee at QB. They still ranked us #3 in the country to start the year.

Is Rozier a RS Jr? I don't remember hearing his name when they still had Kaaya there.

Basically, I'm wondering if he has the opportunity to go pro after this season. I know he's a junior and he's been playing very well.

Finished 12-2, won the Pac-12, Rose Bowl, and with the exception of their loss to USC, didn't come close to losing another game the rest of the year.

So yes, I posted the fact we opened with a very tough opponent in 2011 which, if my math is correct, is less than a decade ago.
