Hoover and Beth have a tight relationship too. She brags about her any time she can. But yea i don't understand why she would send her own teammates to ask another player if so and so was booted if they would stay. That's a total bitch move and just sounds completely unreasonable so I'm not buying that.

Seems like a lot of the family members get extremely involved too in this situation. I wonder how much that happens.

I agree 100%. You can tell conferences on the mound and dugout have good rapport. She always talks good about her. She also talked about BOTH Carley and Allie for next year. We obviously don't know everything but just sounds so outlandish. If it did happen (which I doubt), then it's being handled extremely wrong and I just don't see Beth doing all of this. It sound like disgruntled parents or whatever creating drama and stretching stories. It will only hurt them in the long run to keep saying what's being said.

For better or worse the coach is the boss.

She has accomplished great things but some things in the overall coaching this season have not made sense to me.

I feel for some of these girls reading some of this BS. What's sad is a lot of these attacks aren't even softball related but going into a personal level.

Just got the huntch that all these accusations are the result of a couple really disgruntled parents or someone related to the team member trying to start stuff and stir the pot.

We heard this type of stuff Jaquish first year about how the team was chaos and that she was "a cancer" to the team and everyone hated her.

I really got a kick out of the Corbello stories too. Her attacks went into people's dating life as well calling her a whore.


I'm sure all this dust will settle really soon. College softball at the moment is moving really fast between coaching changes, transfers and such

I can't hear, i have to rely on my perceptive abilities, reading facial expressions, etc.

When I went to the USM game, the only game I have ever gone to.. i got there early enough to watch them warm up. They seemed to be happy.. all smiles, I looked over at Nicky and she was smiling and laughing with the other players...same with Jaquish.

The team i played for in high school...we werent close.. after graduation nobody kept in touch, I know what I saw at the USM game was a team that seemed to consist of players that enjoyed being around each other.

That is what I have to go on. Discord? Maybe disagreements and some frustration, but they didnt seem like a strife-infested team.

Yes its not an easy decision. I hope people do not villianize those who transfer.. like you said..one chance to play softball like this.

Smith is an understandable transfer, and she is going to do well. I really wish Bourg could have stayed,.. Oh well.
