Brossette needs to start out fast or he will get passed up quickly if Provens/Curry show they can perform at this level.

Why do I always forget about Carter? Love that we get that dude for 3 more years. Every team needs a guy like that.

The way they always mention Jefferson, I feel like he will be one of those starting wideouts.

I can't see Cushenberry starting. I just feel like one of those other guys will learn how to play center. Lewis/Brumfield/Ingram/Charles would be a solid 4 on the line. Magee at RT would make me a little worried, but he has played well when he has played.

DL starters look amazing. DL depth has me worried. We have bodies at least now, unlike last year, but none of those guys have done anything to make me think they will show out this year.

Excited to see Queen/Philips/Taylor/Chaisson in year 2. I think they can all end up being studs. What a great haul that was at LB in the same year.

Safety looks solid, but damn, we really need Fulton to be eligible.

I bolded all of my changes. I think that when we go Nickle, Vincent will slide inside and Joseph will come in as the outside CB.

Here's mine right now, make note the freshmen I have at the end of the depth chart as I still would rather wait through fall practice before getting a sense where they really fall. For instance Chase and Marshall could be much higher in a couple months after practice.

I am holding out hope that at least one of Sullivan, Anderson, and Davis will emerge and make themselves useful. Lot of young talent on the roster that could easily pass them up if they don't get it together. Hopefully (Jerry) Sullivan has helped them improve their route running.

Side note: Anyone have an update on Anderson? Thought I saw something about him being in trouble (again) recently.

That defense looks filthy man. Hopefully our O Line gels because I really liked what I saw out of Charles and Ingram last year and a good o line erases a fair bit of other offensive short comings

You have Brennan ahead of McMillan based on what?

Nice Spreadsheet!

You can really see how the DLine (hell the entire front 7) has now been re-stocked.

Surprised to see only 13 OLmen...I thought we had gotten those numbers up to 15 which I think is ideal. Next year that will be fully stocked as well, however, as LSU is bringing in 4-5 and will only lose 1 to graduation. Could even lose 1-2 to attrition and still be fully stocked in '19.

Love what O is doing on both sides of the LOS.

Most glaring thing is how young this team is. Only 9 seniors. 20 juniors. 29 sophomores.

'19 is the year to make a realistic run at winning the SEC. Senior QB (Burrow) and somewhere between 45-50 upperclassmen depending on draft, attrition, etc.

9-3 would be a great year for this team, and they would be primed for next year.

Well for starters he was ahead of him last year, and had a better spring.

They most definitely will not game 1

Of the 2 I expect Chase to emerge as the season goes on. Marshall isn't even 100% right now.

re: 2018 Football Depth Chart Discussion
Looing at Thunderbird's depth chart, there is such a lack of seniors on this team. A lot of this is obviously due to 3 year players leaving early, but still I find it an issue that the team has only 4 projected starting seniors and one is a kicker. I find the sophomore/red shirt freshman class to be the best class we have on this team. After this season, we are no longer considered a young team.

re: 2018 Football Depth Chart Discussion
thats because soooo many people seem to forget 2016 was "the year". LSU had juniors and seniors all over that roster.

2017 was always going to be a "rebuilding" year. the only problem is, the interim head coach gunning for the top spot probably knew he could sell the Athletic Director on continuity without actually diving into the specifics about roster management.
