This team after looking at it is much more similar to the 2015 team than it is to the 2018 team.
Wait, so now wins over bowl teams is what matters most? I guess 2015's 5 wins over bowl teams puts them back on even footing with 2018 then. Especially since the W-L records of the teams LSU beat in 2015 is better than those of 2018.

where did I say one is weak and one isn't?
There is a difference though. It's reflected in the rankings, it ends up being reflected in the bowl you get sent to.

I'm using your own criteria against you my dude. The fact that you can't refute anything being posted without creating a new set of standards that have to be met should tell you all you need to know.
First, it was "9-3 with better losses is what matters". Second, it was "better bowl = better season". Now, it's "wins against bowl teams". All of which have been used to point out the massive holes in your logic.
There is definitely someone running on fumes here, but it most certainly is not me.

We've now come full circle. This is in fact why you are a doofus for thinking every 9-3 season is the same. My standards have never changed. I have never once mentioned what i weigh the most, and these standrads have always been used collectively in this exercise to judge how good a team is.

There's one thing that matters more than everything else. It's not bowl games, how much they lost by, or how many bowl teams they've beaten. That's pretty much common knowledge.

Clemson went to OT there. They won, but didn't get hosed by the officials either. I'm of the opinion that Clemson is pretty darned good. It would seem as though you think they suck for struggling at AnM. Like I said, I'm an LSU fan, not necessarily an O fan so I want the Tigers to succeed. I think we are set for a very good 2019. If not...bye Orgeron. As stated, I'm buying LSU.

My point is a 9-3 team probably isn’t that much better than another 9-3 team.
But some years it takes you farther.
