2012 BCS National Championship Game questions?

I’ve ran across bits and pieces of rumors from you guys in the know that caused this game to go so bad. I would really like to know the backstory on this one. Thank you in advance.

Not sure what you're talking about. LSU Beat Georgia in the SEC Championship and that was the end of the season.

Well there was a bar fight and because of that bar fight we started 9-0. Then our Qb shite the bed against alabama. So the other QB came in.
Les beat Saban and then didn’t change the game plan at all. So LSU ran the option against a team that prepped for it for a month. LSU scores 0 points.

The only thing that caused that game to go bad was Les Miles. He was a stubborn moron.

Not true. This is the first thread ever on this game.

Why??
It’s 10 years ago. Let it rest.

Jordan Jefferson was aware of Les’ indiscretions and Saban brought in Gregg Williams to scheme defending the option.

Personally, I let 1/9 go after 11/9/19, the curse was broken. But apparently, some people can't.

Brandon Weeden was sacked a BCS NC record 7 times en route to an LSU dominating victory 44-10.
LSU would carry the momentum into 2012 beating Alabama at home 21-17 en route to back to back championships beating Notre Dame 31-6.

Les Miles was a buffoon who developed the most predictable, ineffectual offensive game plan possible for the title match. Then he refused to adjust when the game plan inevitably foundered. The end.

Know your tense!
The present tense of the verb run is run:
Ty will run a 5K in June.
I’m going to run to the store.
In the first example, I wish Ty all the luck in the world. I wouldn’t run a 5K unless a really big, hungry animal was chasing me.
In the second example, as you might guess, when I say run, I mean drive. But I digress.
The past tense of run is ran:
Sheila ran three laps around the park.
I ran a long list of errands this morning.
As in the first set of examples, anytime I can say I ran a long list of errands, actual running was probably not involved.
The past participle form of run is run, not ran. You use the past participle form when you add a helping verb like have or has.
We have run that story before.
Ty had run three 5K races before this year’s event was scheduled.
You’d never say “has ran” or “have ran,” since the has or have indicates you need the past participle version, run.

According to tbob and Brandon Taylor, we had to much practice time to get ready and miles pushed them to hard past the breaking point

It was a meaningless farce of an exhibition that spelled the end of the BCS.
Claim the Title Woody. And 1908 while you’re at it.

Players had nothing to do with it. They tried, but our own head coach was our worst enemy that night.

This.
You could see it in the UGA game too. We didn't get a first down in the first half (if I remember correctly). Then in the second half, Mathieu jump started the scoring with a return and almost broke another one and the running game started working.
But in that game in New Orleans, it was the same game plan as the 9-6 game in Tuscaloosa. I mean nothing else was even tried.

Les’ biggest problem was always Les. We could beat inferior teams running power i and just leaning on them. The problem was that Alabama had the horses to stop it. If we had any semblance of an offensive gameplan, we win the game. The defense played their asses off forcing field goals.

Les Miles went up against Nick Saban. In a rematch. We were screwed as soon as ISU beat OSU. Conspiracies are fun but I don’t think any shenanigans happened besides that.

Attended the game ...seat location behind LSU bench. Recall in 2nd half.....players having to be restrained. Some unusual crap going on LSU sideline that night.
